Perfection
I rarely give 5 stars for any reviews, yet if I could I would give + 5 to Craig for this incredible project. The whole journey in transforming my tired Fender Strat Pro I into a guitar that feels and sounds like a top end custom shop one was simply perfect. The work included a modification from a traditional 5-way SSS to a 7-way HSS (Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB bridge humbucker) and from black and white to full black specs; plus set up, including fret work. Great communications throughout the project, plus great recommendations from Craig made a huge difference in the direction of the project. Most importantly the results are way beyond my expectations and an incredible value for the amount of work offered. The guitar sounds, feels and looks absolutely perfect.

Excellent, diligent and prompt service. I took my very precious vintage 1965 Fender Jaguar to Fuzzworld at short notice, with a faulty main switch and tone dial. Craig handled the guitar with great care, quickly diagnosed the problems and then fixed them immediately. Fantastic! A really nice man and superb work. Many thanks.

Godin Session full setup including electronics. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Craig is an amazing luthier! I gave him my Godin Session for a full setup.
He levelled all the frets and made the action just as perfect as needed to make the playing comfortable and enjoyable.
I also asked him to adjust the bridge so that the tremolo arm wouldn’t need much of an effort to be used, it was way to hard for my taste - now it’s perfect.
Ultimately, I told him I didn’t like much my bridge hum-bucker - it was too harsh on the top end for me. Didn’t have many expectations on that, but he actually tweaked the electronics and made it sounds much better - now it has more woomph and body, I love it!
I would definitely recommend Craig, he did an excellent job for me!

Craft, expertise, enthusiasm and excellent service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hadn't played my Yamaha FG-411 acoustic-electric for a while and wanted to start again but it was badly in need of an overhaul with a cracked bridge saddle among several other problems. Found Craig via an online search and so glad I did: as well as being great at what he does, he's friendly, helpful and obviously a true enthusiast who makes every effort to return an instrument to its owner in best possible condition. As well as fixing the bridge he sorted out lots of other issues like worn bridge pegs and top nut, uneven frets and a loose strap button, even cleaning up all the muck left on the finish where I'd fixed it with emergency gaffa tape. He kept me informed throughout the process, offered me various options and costs and submitted a very reasonable final bill. The guitar is now a joy to play. Highly recommended.

Super Guitar Tech Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Craig offered a great guitar tech service on my second-hand Japanese electric guitar. I needed a fix for the high action causing fret buzz on the higher frets and he quickly identified the issue(s) before proposing a comprehensive fix (and no unnecessary extras). Full new set-up done within a week, with great care and detail to make sure the guitar was playable! He even sent a cool time-lapse video of the work so I could see what he had done. All in all, a friendly and reliable service from a top expert when it comes to guitars - would definitely recommend if you need your guitar setting up or fixing!

I am delighted with Craig's work on my Korean Tele, installing a new pickup, sorting out electrics, a full fret level and setup. And at a fair price. He also threw in vintage style wiring replacements, copper shielding and replacing pots to optimise performance. He sent numerous pics of the stages of his work - helpful and great to have. I collected in less than 48 hrs after dropping off at Craig's home-based workshop, when he had talked through options and shared expertise, without pressure. It was so nice to have my Tele in the hands of someone who clearly has the passion, skills, attention to detail and knowledge to bring out the best in an instrument! My Tele feels like a different instrument, has a great action/sound - a real pleasure to play. I found Craig's communication great and him to be very personable - friendly but professional. I would have no hesitation in going to him for work in the future and would definitely recommend him

Nothing short of professional service. Craig was very helpful through the process, documenting every step and kept lines of communication every step of the way. I am very happy with the set up. The guitar was delivered well ahead of schedule , plays very well and feels brand new. Would highly recommend.

I had a loose jack that needed a professional to fix on my acoustic guitar. Lucky for me I didn’t have to look too far to find Craig who did a fantastic job. He was very welcoming and genuine and provided a great service to my instrument, for a very affordable price. I would recommend him to anyone having any problems with their guitar! Thank you Craig!!!

Great work on a difficult bass ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Craig did a masterful job fixing up my 5 string jazz, the bass came to him in a sorry state needing a comprehensive overhaul.
Work undertaken included, re-wiring the electrics, a new bridge, new tuners, new nut cut from scratch, fret level and polish and a full setup.
Each aspect of the work was done with a real eye for detail and was super neat and clean, and the bass came back to me feeling better than it ever has.
Craig was really easy to work with throughout the entire process, and was a big help with sourcing and recommending parts. He also updated me regularly with photos and videos of the work as it was being done. All for a great price too

Friendly & rapid service. Took my Fender Jazz Bass for a Tue Up after having it in storage for many years. Craig offered an honest and helpful diagnosis and suggestions.
Dropped off on Saturday and ready for collection by Tuesday looking and sounding like a brand new guitar.
Would highly recommend to anyone needing any kind of work done on their instruments.

P Bass set up ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Left Craig with my 50 year old P Bass for a complete revamp, he replaced the frets and nut the whole works. Kept me up to date with the process throughout. My bass is like new and this guy clearly loves his work! If you’re reading this look no further

Great again Craig put some vintage capacitors in my Silver Sky SE and the warmth of the guitar has really changed and plays like a dream with a fretboard clean and new strings. Perfectly done by a real Guitar Tech 10/10

Craig went above and beyond my expectations and put meticulous amounts of effort into every part of setting up my guitar, constantly updating me with photos and videos as he went along. Expert setup and service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I contacted FuzzWorld to have a look at my Tele that was in need of a bit of TLC, but also to try address really odd fret buzz that I couldn't rectify with neck relief or string height.
From the offset Craig was personable and knowledgeable, but what more than that he was clearly interested/excited to diagnose the issue and get the guitar to be the best it could be.
Great communication l throughout, keeping me up to date with progress and pics. Explained every bit of work required and checked if anything additional would be required.
Got the guitar back last night and am delighted. Feels like a new instrument, all the issues have been resolved and it plays like a dream now.
Would absolutely use FuzzWorld again for any work

Thoroughly recommended. I brought my Gibson Les Paul studio in for a tricky pickup installation, a general set-up, and fret levelling. Craig was excellent - kept my up to date with everything, and showed me the changes he'd made. The guitar plays the best it has done. Very impressed, and would 100% recommend Craig to anybody needing a servicing of their guitar.
